Being in Dubai, we all have an ultimate list of the 'restaurants located in a hotel' we will like to review and I finally (one down, more to come) ticked of Palace Downtown Dubai.
I have always been a great admire of the Palace Downtown Dubai as for it's beautiful infrastructure and design. A palace look-like with a glorious lake and tall palm trees, the iconic Burj khalifa views and its located in my favourite area (how can I not like it!?)
Al Bayt
The setting was perfect, the atmosphere is welcoming, relaxing and luxurious with a touch of Arabian interiors. If you sit outside, the bonus is the sights of the burj lake.
The Palace High Tea buffet:
This is an afternoon tea in a buffet style which can be great for celebrations. The buffet was placed on a round table which beautifully presented colourful savoury treats and desserts. The desserts tasted great especially the tarts. As for the savoury treats, most of the treats had some kind of seafood whichwas a drawback for a person like me, who isn't a big fan of seafood.
Overall, it was a great day filled with laughter and lots of treats. If you are in the mood to have a luxurious high tea as well as reasonable priced, then Al Bayt might be a good choice because the variety for the price you pay is worth it (160 per person).
